BibliU offers an integrated academic and campus store experience, providing affordable, day one access to textbooks, courseware, and Open Educational Resources (OER). The platform seamlessly integrates with existing Learning Management Systems (LMS) and campus systems. Institutions can choose between their current opt-out process or BibliU's LMS-integrated opt-out solution. This flexibility gives students the freedom to opt-out or independently procure materials. By reducing textbook costs and enhancing the learning experience, BibliU empowers faculty with flexible teaching tools, fosters community on campus, and ensures equitable access to resources for all students. By providing customizable solutions tailored to the unique needs of each institution, BibliU empowers faculty with flexible teaching tools, fosters a sense of community on campus, and ensures that every student has equitable access to the resources they need to succeed.
BibliU’s advanced analytics and reporting tools track metrics like content usage, student engagement, and performance. Faculty and administrators can gain insights into how students interact with course materials, assess effectiveness, and identify at-risk students early. This data helps institutions take targeted actions to improve outcomes.
BibliU offers two content pricing models: Equitable Access (EA) and Inclusive Access (IA). Both models provide students with day one access to required course materials.
BibliU provides tailored billing solutions based on the institution’s billing approach. This ensures that students are only billed for materials they are actually using, and institutions can efficiently manage billing adjustments.
BibliU charges for Equitable Access through a flat fee model, per student, per text. Pricing is normalized across all courses, adjusting for the mix of content types, including eBooks, courseware, and OER. The cost of required materials is typically bundled into tuition or course fees, simplifying the billing process for students and institutions alike. Institutions can apply a markup to the BibliU flat fee, generating predictable auxiliary revenue while keeping education affordable.
BibliU prices Equitable Access per student, per text to ensure students are only charged for content they actually use. In contrast, traditional credit-hour billing charges students even when no textbook is required or when Open Educational Resources (OER) are used. On average, BibliU’s model saves institutions—and students—20-30% compared to the credit-hour approach, since 20-30% of courses don’t require a textbook. For example, at Lee College, the BibliU pricing model resulted in over $1M in savings per year.
For Equitable Access, BibliU provides both course-level and student-level breakdowns. These reports include detailed information on enrolled students, as well as dropped or inactive students, ensuring that finance teams can accurately track and adjust billing based on student enrollment status.
BibliU charges institutions for Inclusive Access using an itemized pricing model. Course materials are provided to students from day one, with itemized per-content pricing that ensures they only pay for the content required for their course. In addition to the cost of course materials, a platform and store services fee is applied. This fee covers the platform’s infrastructure, supporting a seamless, fully integrated campus store and digital solution, along with top-tier customer service and advanced, AI-powered technology.
